Switzerland is made up of three main topographical regions. The northern Jura mountains , the southern Swiss Alps
and it’s Central Plateau. As a result the weather in Switzerland varies greatly between these regions, taking into account
the effects of parameters such altitude. For example in the summer months in the high Alpine mountains (which cover approximately
60% of Switzerland) you could ski on numerous glaciers, and on the same day down in the valleys you could be swimming in a lake or cycling
in hot sunshine.
Switzerland has a great climate for activity seekers with snowy winters and sunny summers, making life fun for the winter sports crowds,
and the summer paragliders, hikers, bikers and more!
